Volunteering with Farm for a Cause™

All our volunteers work exclusively with our Farm for a Cause™. Individuals have the opportunity to volunteer their time and skills to produce food the child-headed families & babies homes that our program supports directly. Volunteers are a core part of Farm for a Cause™ program and help us deliver the much needed food aid to our little beneficiaries. Some of our volunteers may work at our head office, but the bulk of our openings are in our field locations. The skills we require range from agricultural production planning, general agronomy and research to operating agricultural equipment, supervising field staff, and getting involved in field activities.

Our Farm for a Cause program has two tracks:

■  Volunteer to produce food for donation to Uganda-based child-headed families & babies homes/shelters

■  Volunteer to produce food for donation to registered food aid or emergency relief charities located in Uganda or elsewhere in the world

Both these tracks are available to volunteers of any nationality.

Applying to Volunteer

We accept applications at any time throughout the year from both individuals and groups. However, applications must be received at least 12 weeks from the date volunteers intend to commence their commitments. Volunteer commitments may last from two weeks up to a year.

To apply, please complete and submit the volunteer application form. Please note that you need only submit your application once. We keep all applications we receive on file, and there is no need to apply more than once. If you have volunteered with us in the past, please email us here volunteering@epicob.com to signify your intention to volunteer again.
